iSync Sony-Ericsson W350i Plugin
A few months ago I thought it might be a nice idea to sync my (yeah, quite old-fashioned) Sony Ericsson W350i with Apple’s nice iSync feature. However, there was no plugin for that phone offered by Mac OS X. So, after some research, I found out, there are only plugins available for purchase. Hmpf.
I stumbled upon the possibility of making the plugin by myself – using Apple’s iSync Plugin-Maker. This nice tool allows you to create your own iSync plugins, just follow the instructions. It’s actually rather simple, just clicking settings and then testing, how the phone responds to it.
In the end, I managed to create an iSync plugin for Sony Ericsson W35oi by myself. Right now it only works with Bluetooth connection, but I think it should be no big deal to add USB connection as well.
And because I’m such a nice guy, I offer it here for free. I just want you to know that I don’t take any responsibility for any lost data and also do not promise life-long support for that plugin, but I can tell you that it works very fine for me.
